🛒 Ingredients
- 2 lbs lean ground beef (~900 grams)
- 2 medium onions, coursly chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 2 green bell peppers, coursely chopped
- 1 red bell peppers, coursely chopped
- 2 yellow bell peppers, coursely chopped
- 2 orange bell peppers, coursely chopped
- 2 cans (15 oz each) red kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (28 oz) whole tomatoes
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup of chili powder
- 1/4 cup of oregano
- 1/4 cup of parsley
👩🍳 Instructions
- Cut up all vegetables and garlic.
- Place everything except the ground beef into a large crock pot and turn it on to low.
- Cook ground beef in a skillet until crumbly. Drain oil from skillet and place in crock pot
- Cook in crockpot on low for 8 hours, stirring every few hours.
- When done, allow chili to cool for an hour (until chili is cool) and then cover and place into fridge overnight.
- To prepare Chili for eating, place chili back into slow cooker on high for 2 hours.
